Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at Painter's Lodge. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food offerings. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent food quality
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the food preparation process
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.75-$24.32 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Qualifications & Experience: 
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
