Within a client & family centered framework, the PEACE program facilitator develops and implements one-on-one and group sessions for children and youth who have witnessed and/or experienced domestic or gendered violence. The program follows a pyscho-educational model, uses diverse and creative therapies and has a scope of practice that does not include deep trauma counselling.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, Child/Youth Work or related disciplines. - Substantial knowledge and experience in the area of violence against women and children - A minimum of two years recent child/youth support experience with at-risk youth - Experience &/or training in several of: art and play therapy; music therapy; animal therapy; the developmental impacts of trauma; Indigenous culture & history - Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. - Experience developing/leading child/youth therapy groups.
