Kwakiutl Band Council (KBC) is seeking a dynamic individual to engage our community in positive health and wellness activities through best practices and clinical health indicators as a part-time (24.5 hours per week .7 FTE) Mental Health and Addictions Services Clinician at the Kwakiutl Health Centre in Fort Rupert—just outside of Port Hardy, BC. This is a term position. You will provide client-centered treatment and rehabilitation services for individuals and families experiencing mental health and addictions issues, and will report to the Health Director.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree and must be a registered professional clinical member of a regulatory body. You will have advanced clinical skill and professional maturity to maintain the highest level of client-centered, ethical psycho-social mental health care for our community members. You must be a self-starter and team oriented. The MHASC must demonstrate clear professional boundaries and appropriate accountability measures, eMR file-management, charts/records of interventions, and time management.
