Details:
PiIon Tool Rentals is an equipment rental company serving the Comox Valley and mid to North Vancouver Island area for over 50 years.
We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to act as lead hand for a team of 3, applicant included.
Duties include: organize and document routine maintenance on all kinds of compact dirt equipment and aerial lifts. This will be predominantly in our yard, however, local travel to sites will be required.
This is a full time, permanent position, available immediately, Monday to Friday, with overtime available as required, depending on work load.
Wages are $40-$50/hr. depending on experience and qualifications

Also, a signing bonus and relocation assistance, if required, is available to the right applicant.

Qualifications & Experience:
The successful applicant should be a positive and safety minded team player with leadership skills and the ability to communicate.
Experience with aerial lift equipment and compact dirt equipment, combined with a strong background of electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of hydraulic systems, will be a key asset.
