Details:
The job involves twice-a-day launchings of a weather balloon attached to a radiosonde that measures important meteorological data over a wide range of altitudes as it ascends through the atmosphere.
This part-time position offers 36 - 42 hours of work per month and is ideal for a retired/semi-retired person, or someone who is employed but is looking for a part-time second job.
Start date is ASAP and the work is at the Port Hardy Airport.
The shift hours are as follows:
Starting now until early March: Morning shift - 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Afternoon shift - 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Early March to early November: Morning shift - 3:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Afternoon shift - 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The employer will provide basic training to a successful applicant.

Mandatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computers and the Windows operating system.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- 'Reliability Status' security clearance (to be processed by employer).
- Must reside in Port Hardy or its immediate vicinity.
- No previous experience required (training will be provided).
