Details:
• Provides customer service and handles administrative duties, such as the check-in and check-out of guests, handling guest concerns, assisting with the arrivals and departures of groups and tours, operating a busy switchboard, and luggage storage
• Develops and analyzes statistical tracking methodologies
• Prepares and ensures accurate billing, records and reconciliations
• Follows established procedures and policies when completing tasks
• Ensures that all audit and accounting procedures are completed in a timely manner during your shift (i.e. computer resets, credit card reconciliations, system back-ups)
• Responsible for the security and safety of the property, ambassadors and guests when completing tasks
• Ensures that credit procedures meet hotel standards and rate discrepancies are reported to the FOM
• Operates within boundaries of authority and adheres to company policies and practices
• Demonstrates knowledge of local attractions, events and other activities to recommend to guests
Qualifications & Experience:
• Two or more years in previous hotel and/or customer service experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge in the use of POS applications and proficient in keyboarding and other computer applications
• Excellent verbal and written English required
• Advanced communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative to problem solve, experience with conflict resolution
• Ability to work flexible hours, all shifts
