Cermaq Canada is seeking to fill a new permanent full-time role of Fish Health Projects Manager to our Campbell River Administration Office.
As a Fish Health Projects Manager you will oversee up to 4 team members providing leadership both internal and external fish health projects to achieve an optimal fish health situation and quality production.
You will lead the team through decisions that could impact service levels at a regional level yet are beneficial to the company wide operations.
You will report to the Fish Health Director.

Qualifications & Experience:
Your Position Requirements:
• Preferred degree in Biology, preferably in aquaculture or aquatic sciences required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role in the aquaculture industry
• Prior research experience with production animals in a business context
• Experience managing large scale data
• Prior experience working with project management including funding
• A safety-orientated mindset with proven teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to gain a solid understanding of Cermaq Canada’s policies and procedures
• Capable of regional, national and some international travel by boat, plane, and vehicle
