Providence Place Inn is a growing family that is looking for someone to work full time as our front desk manager. We need someone who is capable of managing the front desk, maintenance, and security departments.
Achieving the role of Front Desk Manager isn’t for the faint-hearted. If you’re a people-pleaser with an attention to detail, if you’re willing to put in the hours and work hard, it’s an achievement that’s within reach!
Our hotel is very unique as we service many different types of needs on our property. We do have long term residents who have decided to make Providence Place their home. Keeping in confidence what happens here and maintaining a positive family environment is key to making Providence Place Inn a place where ALL people feel like they fit in.
The FRONT DESK is the heart of the building. It is from this position everything flows. You can go from being the face of the company to a prospective customer, to a friend, or a listening ear to one of our residents, to serving the community, and/or building rapport with out-of-towners. Hospitality goes above and beyond customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:
Front Desk Manager responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Managing and training the Front Desk staff
• Ensuring the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for
guests and residents
• Dealing with guests/residents. Troubleshooting and decision making for
various situations within the hotel.
• Arranging staff scheduling (for Front Desk, Maintenance, and Security)
• Acting as liaison between General Manager, Human Resources and
staff/residents.
• overseeing online accounts and helping General Manager with accounts
receivable/payables.
Critical skills include:
• Diplomacy and the ability to communicate clearly
• Firm leadership skills
• The ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time
• The ability to perform under pressure
• Must be highly motivated
