We (Discovery Community College) have an opening for the right individual, to help guide our students through all aspects of the nursing profession. This is a great opportunity to add mentoring and instructing to your already extensive chosen career.
Instructors should be caring and supportive with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
The instruction will be through both in-house/facility and online classrooms and in accordance to all COVID-19 protocols and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants should have:
• Current full registration with the BCCNM
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners already would be an asset (teaching / mentoring)
o example: Provincial Instructor Diploma (PID)
• Three to five years of recent and relevant practice experience
o please supply in as much detail as possible ALL nursing experience
