Basic Job Function
The Ramp / Cargo attendant attends to all activities associated with the ramp, cargo, baggage, and operation of company ground equipment. This includes but is not limited to shipping/receiving of cargo, baggage loading/unloading, marshaling of aircraft, towing of aircraft, aircraft grooming and operation of ground equipment. Transporting passengers/cargo from airport to float dock.

Status: (1) Seasonal Full Time (April to September )
Location: Port Hardy
Rate of Pay: TBD
Hours of Work: As per shift schedule
Start Date: April 19th to September 30th , 2021

Qualifications & Experience:
Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license
Provide acceptable drivers abstract
Must be effective in oral and written skills as well as basic math skills
Works well unsupervised
Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and to help passengers in and out of aircraft if required
Able to work shifts including weekends and evenings
Can withstand a work environment that can be subject to exposure outdoors during inclement weather conditions.
Must be available on short notice and able to fill requirements of shift availability
