Details:
As our office assistant and student housing coordinator you will be assisting students who come from across Canada and Internationally in preparing for their training program at DIVESAFE International. As students are preparing to arrive into Campbell River your job will be to help them via email, telephone and social media to become familiar with Campbell River and the amazing island we get to live on. You will prep their rooms to ensure everything is ready for their arrival. Once they arrive into Campbell River you will meet them at the student housing and assist them to settle in, answering questions and generally being an ambassador for Divesafe and Campbell River area.
As the students progress through our training, you will maintain contact with them, assisting if they have any issues, you will ensure the accommodations are clean and tidy and stocked with supplies, as well as other duties. Upon the students graduation you will check the rooms, and assist with their departure and ensure the rooms are ready and prepped for the next student to arrive.
This is a fun position and you will meet a lot of interesting people.
As our office assistant your role is to be friendly and supportive to anyone coming into our training premises, be that students, graduates, staff etc... You will assist Heather our office manager is keeping the student files organized and keep the office tidy as well. We expect you to be professional, friendly and helpful.
It would be beneficial if you have experience with Office 365. But if you don't, no worries, we can train the right person.
We are looking for the right person to fit into our friendly, supportive and vibrant office environment. There is a 1 month training period and then a raise. After 3 months you will receive full health benefits.

You must have a valid drivers license and your own car would be highly beneficial (but not necessary) as you will work between the student accommodations and the office(we pay for fuel).
