PRT Growing Services Ltd. is the largest producer of container grown tree seedlings in North America.
This year our company will grow 375 MILLION seedlings for reforestation efforts.
Future forests need your help! We are hiring seasonal Nursery Workers to assist with our harvest of tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. This engaging, high paced, physical position offers a safe work environment and an opportunity to build a career that will make a positive change in the world.

- Winter lift at our Campbell River location supplies reforestation efforts in our coastal region, the rest of BC and projects all across the continent!

- We provide a supportive, team structured environment, a strong safety culture, and a commitment to the environment
- Project starts October 18th and will run until Christmas, we will have a short break and return in the new year to complete the project by mid-January
- Two shifts available 6am to 2:30pm or 3pm to 11:30pm
- Starting wage of $15.82/hour for standard operations. Evening shift pays additional .75ยข per hour
- Full time work of 40 hours per week during this harvest project.
- Opportunity to join our regular crew for ongoing work throughout the year
- Full time crew who stay with us through the years will become eligible for medical and dental benefit coverage
Qualifications & Experience:
Successful Applicants with PRT:
- Are energetic and pay attention to detail
- Have a positive attitude and are team players
- Work is meticulous and physical demanding; ability to stand for lengthy periods of time, walking, repetitive lifting, (up to 50 lbs), and the ability to perform repetitive movements is necessary
- Appropriate clothing required; Indoor and outdoor work, must be able to work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation is essential
