Details:
- Dishwasher Kitchen assistant will work with the chef, breakfast cook and server as part of a team.
- Duties will include ensuring all dishes, utensils and pots and pans are done and sparkling, counters cleaned, floor in kitchen, dining area and bbq area are clean, all Vancouver Coastal health requirements are met, glassware is processed through the glass washer and assist with food prep as directed.
- Other duties as assigned by chef and management.
- Accommodation and meals are included.
- Crew share equally in gratuities.
- Crew will have the opportunity to sign out the crew boat for fishing and exploring on off hours and enjoy stand up paddle boarding and the beauties of nature... orca, humpback whales, porpoise and more in Beautiful Hakai Pass. Ole's runs 4 day and 5 day trips from mid July to the end of August with 24 - 27 guests enjoying the fishing and hospitality each trip changing over twice per week.
- Additional duties may be assigned on changeover days.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous kitchen experience an asset, but will train the right candidate
Must have:
- Food safe
- WHMIS
- Full Covid 19 vaccination
- Serving it Right an asset
- First Aid Level one with Transportation endorsement an asset
- Personal water craft operator certification - only if candidate wants to enjoy fishing and boating in off hours
