THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking fully qualified Heavy-Duty Mechanic's to join our timberlands operations located on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC.
We currently have vacancies at the following locations:
- Holberg, BC
- Port Alice, BC
- Port McNeill, BC
- Woss, BC
This is an hourly United Steel Worker (USW) union with a rate of $47.06 per hour plus trade premiums and comprehensive benefits. Shifts vary depending on site. Please inquire within to learn more.
This position is considered safety sensitive, all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Preference will be given to those with experience in west coast logging equipment (Yarders, Log Loaders & Hydraulic Log Loaders)
- Must be fully ticketed Red Seal HD Mechanic.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Highly developed machine diagnostic and repair skills are a benefit
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision
- OFA Level 3 considered an asset
