We are seeking an experienced Fish Feed Supervisor to join the Saltwater Department at our Feed Center
located in Port Hardy, BC. Feed is the most expensive input factor to our production and the Fish Feed
Supervisor will play an important role in projects that in turn will lead to better biological results of the company.
The successful applicant will oversee the operation of the feed center through planning and managing operations
efficiently and responsibly.
Responsibilities:
Organize employees so that everyone is aware of roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure that the company's Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
• Prepare the budget in accordance with the region's overall strategies and goals.
• Develop and implement procedures at the operating center to ensure that the mandatory tasks are taken care
of.
• Ensure that feeding and other work tasks are carried out in a way that ensures the area's production goals.
• Manage and / or follow up work operations to the extent necessary to safeguard overall performance and
personnel responsibilities.
• Report to the nearest manager according to set goals and budget.
• Ensure that other reporting and internal controls are carried out in accordance with procedures and guidelines
for the company.

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications:
BSc in biology or related field (i.e. animal nutrition), Master's degree is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, ability to set clear expectations, goals and responsibilities.
• Modeling preferred behavior, building an inclusive organizational culture.
• Be a driving force for change and adhere to the company's management principles.
• Experience in a production area, combined with other management experience.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
