THE OPPORTUNITY
Western Forest Products is seeking fully qualified Heavy Duty Mechanics in our Timberlands Operations on Northern Vancouver Island.
Vacancies include:
-Heavy Duty Mechanic - Red Seal - Port McNeill, BC (multiple positions available)
WHAT WE OFFER
-Monday-Friday.
-Unionized USW positions with a wage rate of $45.48 for fully certified mechanics.
-Benefits and pension are offered through the USW.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Preference will be given to those with experience in west coast logging equipment (Yarders, Log Loaders & Hydraulic Log Loaders)
- Fully ticketed Red Seal HD Mechanic
- Valid Driver’s License
- Highly developed machine diagnostic and repair skills are a benefit
- Must be a self starter and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Available to work afternoon shifts; open to flexible hours as work demands dictate
